Reviews for Kanto Freestyle Breakfast
Review highlights
Based on 320 reviewsKanto Freestyle Breakfast in Taguig is widely praised for its diverse Filipino breakfast offerings, including popular rice meals like Tocilog, Tapsilog, and specialty dishes such as Honey Garlic Chicken and New Zealand Beef Tapa. Customers appreciate the generous portion sizes and affordable prices, making it a go-to spot for satisfying meals any time of day. The restaurant also stands out for its breakfast staples like pancakes, waffles, and French toast, though some find the heavier bread-like texture of pancakes less appealing. While many menu items receive mixed feedback, the consistently recommended signature dishes and a welcoming ambience contribute to the brand’s strong appeal among breakfast enthusiasts.
I discovered this restaurant quite recently. They offer favorite rice meals like Tocilog, Tapsilog, Danggit, Tinapa plus Pancakes and more. Their Honey Garlic Chicken and New Zealand Beef Tapa are a must-try. They also have Vigan Longganisa and Chorizo and a host of other Filipino breakfast staples.Their servings are satisfying enough unless you have a big appetite. And the prices are friendly on the pocket which is affordable for regular office workers in BGC. It's an upgrade to the carinderia kind of restos with ample seats, a clean kitchen, which is visible to its patrons. The staff are courteous and very attentive. Would definitely visit this place again if I am in that side of BGC to try their other dishes.
Hey, you want to know a secret? If I tell you this secret, please don't tell anybody else. Promise me ok? I want to tell you that... Ummm.. Um.. I like french toast and waffles! I also like pancakes. Kanto Freestyle has all of them on their menu! They're super delicious!
My go-to 24/7 breakfast resto. The menu has MANY entries but I only have 2 favorite and share-worthy entries: Honey Garlic Chicken and Crispy Pork Belly. Don't forget to add that extra egg (scrambled or sunny side up) for a better experience. All other mwnu entries are just meh and over priced. They should focus more on the better entries like the two I mentioned.
Try the honey garlic chicken. It's my all-time favorite. I also tried their pancakes and waffles...too heavy for me. Tastes more like bread which is a let down.
Food taste good qnd cooked when you order. Amazing ambience. Affordable and with large servings!
Best for midnight cravings with friends. They served breakfast meals and more with reasonable price. We ordered their famous Australian Tapa and tried the Chocnut Champorado with tuyo which I personally find delicious and a new favorite. The restaurant has a welcoming ambience and the staffs are friendly. Free parkings is available for customers. Definitely a good place to dined.
Overall experience was good. Food was delicious except for the pancakes. The spicy kanto fried rice was superb! The serving was good for 2 persons already and was a complete meal already.Their vigan longganisa was nice. For their pancakes with bacon and eggs, pancakes were fluffy but dry and bland. Bacons were okay. Their scramble eggs were good! By the way they will ask you how would you like your eggs cooked. Price is reasonable for the quality of food.
We ate here while we stayed in BGC for 2 weeks. We had breakfast every morning and we were always happy. We miss the garlic rice and beef tapa. A great spot for foreign visitors who want to try something filipino and pay a fair price. We would go again tomorrow if we could. I can't understand the 1 star reviews. If you want AC pay more to eat somewhere else, as BGC prices go Kanto is cheap and cheerful!
